Call for Proposals – HEROES Small-Scale Cooperation Projects (2026)

Are you a researcher or research support staff member at a HEROES partner institution? This is your opportunity to launch a new collaboration across the Alliance.

 

The HEROES4REGIONS Joint Practice-Oriented Scientific Research Hub invites teams to submit proposals for small-scale cooperation projects that strengthen collaboration in:

  • practice-oriented research
  • innovation and knowledge transfer
  • research valorisation

Projects should contribute to Smart Regional Resilience, focusing on:

  • Nature’s resilience
  • People’s resilience
  • Businesses’ resilience

What you can get:

  • Seed funding up to €9,000 per project
  • Support for capacity-building, workshops, co-creation labs, hackathons, or networking activities
  • A chance to develop long-term collaborations and future funding opportunities

 

Deadline: 15 May 2026
Consortium: Minimum 3 HEROES partner institutions
Application: Short proposal (max. 3 pages)
